Taking a serious fall at any time can result in negative repercussions. When the fall takes place as part of a construction accident, the likelihood of serious injuries may increase. If a worker is injured due to this type of on-the-job incident, he or she may have cause to pursue workers’ compensation.

One Alabama worker may soon start gathering more information on these benefits after a recent accident. Reports stated that the man was working construction on a band practice field at Auburn University. While working, the man fell from a scaffolding. He apparently fell 15 feet before coming to a stop. The incident was still under investigation, as it was unclear what may have caused the man to fall.

The incident resulted in his suffering head and back injuries. He was transported from the scene by emergency crews. The exact extent of these injuries was not disclosed, but it was mentioned that the man was in stable condition. His age was reported as being 63 years old. Additional information may be available at a later time once more facts have been obtained through the investigation.

This Alabama man may face considerable difficulties as a result of the injuries suffered in this construction accident. Lost income and medical bills may be just a couple of the financial hardships that could stem from this incident. However, workers’ compensation may be able to help him face those financial difficulties more easily. If he is interested in learning more about such benefits, he may wish to confer with an experienced attorney.
